Do i splice a single wire jump a wire from the cpu fan on the mobo to the monitoring wire on the molex.

Hi i was just wondering how many case fans i could use for my cpu with a 4oo watt power supply. Locate an available 4 plug power connector coming from the power supply plug the fan in and replace the side panel door. Yup connectors as labeled fan1 fan2 fan3 etc dont need to buy any molex cables and stuff right. Yup just connect the fan controller to the two molex connectors as the fan controller gets power through 2 molex connectors.
